Ben was called to the Prince Edward Island Bar in 2018 after articling with a full-service PEI law firm where he practiced in a wide range of practice areas. Benjamin is further developing his litigation practice at Ritch Williams and Richards, representing clients in insurance defence matters in the Atlantic region.

About Benjamin

Ben worked for the Canada Revenue Agency before attending the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University, and in the summer of his second year of law school Ben worked at the PEI Human Rights Commission.

Ben has a background of volunteering and community service. He has a second degree black-belt in karate and volunteered as a club coach and instructor for over 10 years. Ben has also volunteered with the Canadian Cancer Society, the PEI Department of Fish and Wildlife, and during law school volunteered in assisting self-represented litigants in the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia: Family Division.

Outside of the office, Ben enjoys competitive sailing, hiking, backcountry camping, and playing the piano.
